Here’s my Top 3 books about spiritual warfare (in no particular order). Two were written by a great biblical preacher, and the third was written by an exorcist.
The late Pentecostal preacher Derek Prince actually made me intensely Catholic. His books about deliverance and blessings/curses were life-changing. Admittedly, this is the stuff I wish I had been taught at Catholic school! His style of teaching is top-tier.
They Shall Expel Demons
This book has the essential information regarding deliverance from demons. Topics include:
- What are demons?
- How do demons come in?
- The occult & witchcraft explained
- The ways demons interfere with our lives
- Areas of our personality affected by demons
- Deliverance from demons
After reading this book, you’ll see the various ways we get spiritually attacked: emotionally, mentally, through language, and libido & physical appetites. Most importantly, you’ll also learn how to defend yourself from and expel evil spirits.
Blessing or Curse
I didn’t believe in curses until I was down and out. This book made me see what makes a blessing or a curse; accordingly, I made the adjustments to get back on the right path. The Judeo-Christian worldview made so much more sense after being illuminated on this subject matter.

Certain types of sins and vices will make your life accursed. Nonetheless, there is no reason to despair, because Jesus gave us the supernatural grace that provided victory over the corrupting force of sin.
I find exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger’s videos on YouTube intensely informative. They’re much-needed content in these secular and confusing times. After going down the YouTube rabbit hole of exorcist lectures, I was happy to find out that he had released a deliverance prayer book.
Deliverance Prayers
This book contains powerful prayers. It’s less about the concepts of spiritual warfare, but it does give you the weapons to combat evil.
You will find protection prayers, binding prayers, deliverance prayers, prayers breaking generational curses, defeating witchcraft & sorcery, defeating occult spirits, defeating generational spirits, etc. In addition, there are also devotional and healing prayers.
